Delta VFDB4045 braking unit 45 kW 400 V
Delta external braking unit (brake chopper) for 380–480 V drives with motors up to 45 kW. It connects to the drive's DC +(P)/−(N) terminals and routes braking energy into Delta BR resistors. Several units can run in parallel (master/slave).

Delta VFDB braking units are external brake choppers for Delta drives without a built-in chopper or that need more braking power. They connect to the drive's DC bus and always work with Delta BR resistors. Typical uses are hoists, centrifuges, conveyors and high-inertia loads.
