Delta VFDB braking units are external brake choppers for Delta drives without a built-in chopper or that need more braking power. They connect to the drive's DC bus and always work with Delta BR resistors. Typical uses are hoists, centrifuges, conveyors and high-inertia loads.

- Braking start-up voltage selected by jumper for 380–480 V AC mains
- Master/slave function for parallel connection of several units
