Delta BR brake resistors dissipate as heat the energy a motor returns during deceleration or fast stopping. They are used with Delta drives that have a built-in brake chopper (e.g. MS300, ME300, CP2000 up to 30 kW) or with VFDB braking units. Models up to 500 W have an aluminium housing; 1–1.5 kW models are wire-wound.
