Delta VFD-EL-W is a series of economical compact drives for simple speed control of induction motors from 0.2 to 5.5 kW. Typical uses are conveyors, material handling machines, edge banding machines and constant-pressure pumps. It has built-in PID, single and multi-pump control and Modbus RS-485 communication; it has no built-in EMC filter, brake chopper or DC choke.
Features
- V/f and sensorless vector control (SPWM); output frequency 0.1–400 Hz
- Overload 150% of rated current for 1 minute; 150% starting torque at 5 Hz
- Built-in PID; single or multi-pump control (up to 4 pumps) in constant-pressure or alternating mode
- RS-485 port (RJ45) with Modbus protocol
- 4 digital inputs (NPN/PNP), 1 analog input 0–10 V / 4–20 mA, 1 relay output
- Front keypad with frequency potentiometer
- IP20; operating temperature −10…50 °C; frame A1 naturally cooled, A2 and B fan-cooled
- No built-in EMC filter, braking unit or DC choke
